Your First Dental Visit
Now that your dental financing is in order, make that appointment! Comfort Care Dental is the dental office to choose from. We are committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We are sensitive to your needs and have made it our goal to make you and your family feel as comfortable as possible during your visit. We understand you may be anxious about visiting the dentist and we do what we can to make it a smooth and pleasurable visit.
Before coming to your first visit, please be sure to fill out all of the new patient forms. You can find these forms on our website! Make sure to bring any dental insurance cards you may have. We also understand everyone has busy schedules, so when preparing to make your appointment please remember that your appointment can last anywhere from 45 up to 90 minutes depending on the visit and its nature.
During your first visit with us, we will review your dental and medical history forms. We will also take x-rays of your teeth and mouth. Afterward, your dentist will meet with you to discuss and create your very own individual treatment plan customized to your needs. We will also answer any questions you may have during this time. At your next visit, one of the dental hygienists will clean and polish your teeth. They will also check your teeth and gums for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.
Getting a regular checkup is very important for maintaining a healthy smile. The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine cleanings to ensure your teeth and gums are healthy. If you suffer from gum disease, you need to visit your dentist every three months.
